With the Velocity Wireless Speaker System, you no longer need to run speaker wires all over the place to get your audio where you want it. They broadcast audio signal through walls, floors and celings, and they are weather resistant so you can use them outside. This is an entry level wireless speaker system, so if you want to go wireless while staying inexpensive, these are the speakers for you.
These speakers have a futuristic looking design, and can be used in conjuction with your mp3 portable media players, computers, stereos, and home theater systems. They can be used indoors or outdoors, but some users say that they don’t work too well outdoors. The sound quality is pretty good, but they lack bass so they can end up sounding a bit ‘tinny’. The range is advertised at 150 feet, but some people report that you can’t have them very far apart or you will get alot of static.
In the box, you’ll find the Velocity Wireless Speaker System with ac adapters, the wireless transmitter base, remote control with batteries, wall mounts, and 3.5mm to RCA & 3.5mm to 1/4 inch adapters. They are easy to use and set up, however keep in mind that you can’t turn the speakers themselves on and off with the remote. You will have to go to the speaker and turn them on and off manually.
I would say that for the price (about $120) there are better wireless speaker systems out there, but many people do like this system. Also, if you get them from buy.com, you get a set of free wireless headphones.
